Hibachi at Home in NYC

Bring a private hibachi chef to your New York City party. Jojo Hibachi cooks on site for backyard celebrations, rooftop gatherings, birthdays, corporate events and family dinners. We bring the chef, propane grill, ingredients and the show.

Where we serve

We cater events in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx and Staten Island. Popular service areas include the Upper East Side, Lower Manhattan, Williamsburg, Park Slope, Astoria, Long Island City and the Staten Island neighborhoods. Tell us your address when booking so we can confirm the setup and travel fee.

Menu and pricing

Adults are $50 per person and children age 12 or under are $25. There is a $500 minimum order. Each dinner includes salad, fried rice, fried noodles, vegetables and two proteins. Choose from chicken, steak, shrimp, salmon, scallops or tofu; filet mignon and lobster tail are $10 upgrades. Travel fees typically range from $25 to $100 depending on location. Gratuity is not included.

What to expect

Our chef usually arrives about 30 minutes before the party to set up. The hibachi experience generally lasts 90–120 minutes. Please provide tables, chairs, plates and utensils unless you arranged setup with us. We can cook in a suitable garage, covered patio or tent when there is enough safe space and ventilation. Let us know about allergies before the event.
